Message from the District Governor, District 4-L6

Congratulations to all the San Diego Scripps Lions!

This is a happy and exciting date for any Lions Club. Their Club Installation marks the true meaning of success for all the members in a Lions Club.

Coming into the New Year 2004/2005, we all have a lot to look forward to in the service and success of each of our clubs. The San Diego Scripps Lions Club have the same vision for growing and serving the community and making a difference for the ones that are not as fortunate as we Lions are.

I bring you the International President’s message and theme: Share Success Through Service.

International President Clem Kusiak asks us to do two things this year. First, do one or two new service projects in our community this year to make a difference for the less fortunate members in our community. Second, have a net growth in membership this year of five percent. I’m sure both of these requests are things that the San Diego Scripps Lions Club can accomplish with great success this year. I know you are trying to get your Medical Mission going and, I am sure, with the strong will you have, it will be accomplished soon. GOOD LUCK on that.

I wish all of you the best of luck and good health to all the members and your club. Together we can make a difference in our District and in our communities and in our personal life. Thanks to all of you for what you have done in the past years, and for what you all will do in the future.
